Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Nashua, New Hampshire

Description We are searching for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining vendor records, processing vendor invoices, and managing corporate credit cards. This role also involves preparing and tracking lien waivers, reviewing and paying monthly employee expense reports, and assisting in the coordination of annual reviews and audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and update vendor records regularly

• Perform annual 1099 reporting diligently

• Process vendor invoices, including coding to appropriate projects and general ledger accounts

• Make payments on a timely basis

• Prepare and track lien waivers for all relevant transactions

• Review and track subcontractor insurance certificates for compliance

• Manage corporate credit cards, ensuring all expenses are coded to the appropriate projects and general ledger accounts

• Make payments on corporate credit cards on a timely basis

• Review, post, and pay monthly employee expense reports accurately

• Scan, file, and maintain accurate and organized accounting records

• Assist in the coordination of annual reviews and audits

• Prepare auditor requested reconciliations and provide supporting documents for year-end financial statement audit

• Knowledge of 3 Way Matching. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk for at least 2 years

• Proficient in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills and invoice processing capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP

• Proficient in 3 Way Matching

• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• High degree of honesty and reliability

• Knowledge of applicable accounts payable procedures and standards.
