The Position

An exciting job opportunity is now open as a Specialist, Credit Management in our team. The successful candidate will perform and ensure timely completion of credit management activities for Boehringer Ingelheim legal entities in scope for Global Business Service Center Manila not limited to the following: credit block release, credit risk evaluation, periodic review of credit accounts, minimize the risk of bad debt, and will support implementation of new SAP Standards for credit, dispute & collection.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Calculate Credit Risk for customers and negotiate with local business.

• Manage and perform the regular monitoring (weekly/monthly) of the Boehringer Ingelheim receivables for the Global Business Service Center countries.

• Deal with and issue service requests from/to business partners in English or local language (as needed).

• Responsible in managing the yearly bad debt write off process for the Boehringer Ingelheim legal entities.

• Create the quarterly bad debt forecasts and discuss possible optimizations and risk reducing actions with the responsible Local Finance contact.

• Provides and validates Key Performance Indicator reporting and standardized statistics on a regular basis.

About our Future Employee

You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance and Administration, Banking and Finance and the like, with expert knowledge in SAP Finance (handling and technical solutions) and standard software applications.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• At least 2 years of work experience in Credits Management

• A good command of the English language skills.

• The ability to work in a diverse and international environment, and sound knowledge of market and country risks.

• Analytical/reconciliation skills, good personal and organizational skills, sensitivity to people, negotiating skills, capacity for teamwork, reliability, drive for continuous improvement, self-dependent and ability to work with different nationalities.

• Willing to work in a flexible schedule (morning/mid/night)
