Microsoft Corporation Senior Web Marketing Manager in Multiple Locations, United States

Microsoft’s Cloud Marketing Web team is seeking a dynamic, customer-obsessed, digitally focused Senior Web Marketing Manager to lead growth and drive impact of Microsoft’s web presence supporting two critically important audiences: Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and Developers.

This role leverages audience and market insights, paired with deep web and customer experience(CX) acumen, to define strategy and drive execution of tactics to create engaging and compelling web experiences for CISOs and Developers. Collaborating with Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, Content and Creative partners, a successful Sr. Web Marketing Manager will develop intimate knowledge of key audiences and their distinct customer journeys, to inform creation of an immersive web experience that presents storytelling and content directly addressing target audiences. The Sr. Web Marketing Manager partners with Project Management, User Experience (UX) Design, Writers, Search Engine Optimization(SEO), Web Development and Operations to bring experiences to life and leverages reporting and tools to manage and optimize the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Act as web strategist and customer advocate for CISO and Developer site customer experiences:

• Develop deep insights into customer needs and behaviors to inform sources of and opportunities for customer satisfaction on the site.

• Collaborate closely with v-team stakeholders to ensure experiences deliver in achieving business objectives

• Develop site experience strategy and plans outlining objectives, scope, research inputs and plan of action in coordination with UX and project stakeholders.

• Establish specific key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure necessary reporting is in place to measure and report on effectiveness and optimize results.

• Partner closely with Development and Operations teams on delivery of experiences, including prioritization, clarification of requirements, and project management.

• Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly business readouts to key stakeholders to ensure business, experience and operational goals are being tracked and met

• Develop actionable plan to improve the in-market performance of site/program

• Use customer and market insights to develop hypotheses and create a test-and-learn plan for improving experiences and functionality across the web ecosystem. Optimize in-market experiences to meet customer's needs and channel KPIs through iteration based on customer feedback.

• Inform and influence colleagues and cross functional teams to successfully achieve goals

• Ensure customer and business data drives all plans, activities, decisions.

• Effectively analyze data to make decisions, define new strategies, and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, web, relationship), marketing strategy, experience strategy, marketing operations, or related work experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience managing multiple web projects simultaneously amid ambiguity and in a highly collaborative organization.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, web, relationship), marketing strategy, expereince strategy, marketing operations, or related experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, web, relationship), marketing strategy, experience strategy, marketing operations, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with peers and across multiple business teams and levels of leadership

  • Demonstrated development of strategic, outside the box thinking to solve problems

  • Highly adaptable and thrives in structures that evolve based on the customer and business needs

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
