As a Microsoft Copilot Technical Specialist (Copilot TS) your main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our technology. You will work in a team, enabling the customers through digital transformation by leveraging the Modern Workplace of Microsoft 365. Copilot TSs are expected to be able to both own and win the customers technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and ongoing projects. Also to bring those opportunities to the extended sales team to pursue. As a Copilot TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate, prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve/ exceed quarterly Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Suite, Copilot Studio & Extensions, Employee Experience and Frontline Worker solutions target in your accounts Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure technologies while being aligned to the sales organization. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Proof: You will demonstrate (e.g., via Architectural Design Sessions, or Proof of Concept sessions) Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Extensions, Employee Experience and Frontline Worker technologies; your daily work includes presenting and applying architecture patterns for design, development, configuration, and deployment/ adoption/ governance planning as well as applying sales methodologies and leveraging partner/customer teams as needed. Additionally, we expect you to leverage the extensibility of Copilot and understand business process needs of the customer and align them to specific use cases.

  • Build for Future of work: You will provide strategic, technical, and partner input based on Microsoft capability at the account level, leveraging knowledge of partners, open-source solutions, the platform extensions, and competitors in the Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Extensions, Employee Experience and Frontline Worker enablement. You will take knowledge of customer feedback, specific Microsoft Modern Work solutions, and the platform approach in a competitive landscape and deliver core competitive knowledge back to engineering teams to enhance Microsoft Copilot capabilities and to develop compete strategies.

  • Scale Customer Engagements: You will reach out to customers proactively and independently using knowledge of customer context and creating new opportunities to grow the Microsoft tech footprint; expertise and depth knowledge in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Extensions, Employee Experience and Frontline Worker solutions along with other technical and industry knowledge. Leading technical discussions with customers and establishing rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams including partners and Customer Success Unit leveraging knowledge of processes, tools, and programs.

  • Education: You will proactively identify learning gaps; monitoring & responding to internal tech community posts, attending community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc. Practicing expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture and demonstrating new and updated Microsoft Teams products and services.

  • Scale Through Partners: You will act as the liaison between the partner and team and facilitating partner resources and processes. Identifying Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Extensions, Employee Experience and Frontline Worker skill- and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and solid years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience

  • OR bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND solid years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience

  • OR extensive years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience

  • OR equivalent experience.
