rPosting Context Statement:
r
This position will serve clientele and staff and move the mission of Extension forward to help the citizens of Gem and Boise County live thriving prosperous and healthy lives. Primary focus areas of this position include school enrichment program development and delivery, general Extension program support in the areas of livestock, small acreage, and horticulture and customer service.
rrPosition Overview:
r
This position performs a complex mix of duties in support of project or program development and delivery.
Duties may include:
- Coordinate office operations
- Document and tracking program schedules and business cycles
- Plan and coordinate program meetings and events
- Support program planning and may assist with the development of operating budgets and/or funding proposals
- Research and compile information for communications such as talking points, speech scripts and responses to correspondence and presentations
- Coordinate collection of data and materials for reports and other administrative documents
- Develop and maintain positive liaison relationships with various offices, customers and stakeholders including internal and advisory boards
- May assist with budget management and provide support for financial and/or personnel processes
- Other duties as assigned
rrRequired Experience:
r
- Three years providing administrative, business operations and/or program support
- Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
rrRequired Education:
r
- High School Diploma or equivalent
rrRequired Other:
r
- Ability to work nonstandard business hours including evening and weekends
- Ability to travel
rrAdditional Preferred:
r
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Experience teaching youth and adults
- Experience planning and delivering educational programming using hands-on techniques
- Experience gathering and compiling data for reports
- Experience with University programs such as Banner, Chrome River, and MyUI
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Customer service experience
