Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Communications intern to craft compelling stories across our internal communication channels as they actively gather feedback and approvals from stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual with strong writing, digital media, and strategic communication skills who’s interested in technology and not afraid to speak up and ask questions. If you’re interested in exploring unique ways to communicate and be a content creator with a variety of corporate audiences and passionate about creative storytelling within AP style guidelines, you’d be a fit for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Create internal communications ensuring messaging is consistent, engaging, and reflects organizational goals
Regularly monitor and adjust communication strategies based on stakeholder input
Strategize and execute any assigned internal projects, events, or announcements
Assist with internal newsletters, written employee profiles, articles, and presentations
Create multimedia content (e.g., photography, videos, graphics, animations) for email campaigns, podcasts, and presentations
Manage internal social media channels by drafting posts, engaging with audiences, and analyzing performance metrics
Research and propose new multimedia trends and tools to enhance communication strategies
Maintain an organized media library and ensure brand consistency across all content
Be equally effective communicating updates in-person or virtually through regular team calls and progress reports via online collaboration tools
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or a related field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to write in voices other than their own
Preferred Qualifications:
An organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced global environment while keeping teammates well-informed
Strong interpersonal, storytelling, and visual communication skills with attention to detail
Above-average level of expertise in technical computer skills with experience with multimedia software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of video production, animation, or motion graphics is a plus
