Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician for Breast Surgery at Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health System, one of the foremost healthcare organizations in New Jersey, is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to provide invaluable support to Breast Surgery services at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, located within Morristown Medical Center. This represents a remarkable career opportunity for an experienced advanced practice clinician who desires to join a well-established surgery practice with a supportive and highly skilled team.

The advanced practice clinician should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of surgery. While the advanced practice clinician will not participate in surgical operations, their primary responsibilities will encompass patient communication and conducting outpatient consultations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous surgery experience. The APC must be comfortable with performing wound care, aspirations, and punch biopsies. The schedule for this position is full-time days with occasional call and no weekends required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

• ACLS and BLS certification required

• 2-4 years of oncology experience is preferred

• Must have excellent communication and computer skills

• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
