Atlantic Health System Graphic Animation Coord. in Morristown, New Jersey
Job Overview: The Graphics and Animations Coordinator will be responsible for creating engaging visual content and animations for the Calling All Kids WAMMC -TV Network. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and collaboration to produce high-quality graphics that resonate with our young pediatric patient audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and produce graphics for various platforms, including Calling All Kids /WAMMC -TV Network, CAK Studio, social media, marketing, digital content, and themed events
Create assets for the CAK animation coordinator that enhance storytelling and educational content
Collaborate with executive producer and other team members to develop visual concepts
Ensure all graphics and animations align with the Calling All Kids WAMMC – TV Network brand guidelines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate visual content
Role may require occasional on or offsite participation outside the scope of the normal hours of work
Skill Requirements:
Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, Flash CS5, Aftereffects, CS5Illustrator, Adobe XD, Acrobat DC
Strong organization skills and file/project management
Ability to maintain system efficiencies
Ability to follow established technical specifications in accordance with Atlantic Health System requirements. All work must be consistent with brand and style guidelines.
Qualifications:
Ability to see projects through from concept to completion (storyboard to printshop)
Ability to work with any given print shop in person and remotely
Ability to think outside of the box when brainstorming, without straying from the company’s themes/brand
Communication and people skills (all ages)
Collaborative and problem-solving abilities
Ability to collaborate closely with Executive Producer to establish appropriate production list and project deadlines.
Flexibility and efficiency required for changing project priorities in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, be task driven, have excellent communication and time-management skills
Ability to work well with children of all ages and to maintain patient confidentiality
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, animation, multimedia Arts or a related field
Experience:
2+ years of experience in graphic design and animation, preferably in children’s media; this could include freelance experience during education
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Blender)
Strong portfolio displaying relevant work, particularly in children’s content
