Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Monroe, North Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Monroe, North Carolina. The role involves maintaining customer service standards within our organization. You will be responsible for tasks such as customer order entry, responding to customer inquiries, and managing customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer order entry into our system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing solutions where necessary.

• Analyze order quantities and perform manual allocation to ensure even distribution.

• Process customer-approved returns following the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Coordinate with the manufacturing department to ensure the smooth processing of orders.

• Maintain and update customer records in our system.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for various data entry and administrative tasks.

• Schedule appointments and manage the daily reconciliation of assigned customer orders.

• Utilize SAP for order processing and account management.

• Assist with gathering information for export customers and process customer returns, adhering to department SOPs. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls in a call center environment

• Demonstrated experience in providing outstanding customer service

• Proficient in data entry and order entry tasks

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Competency in scheduling appointments efficiently

• Familiarity with department SOP's and ability to adhere to them

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks

• Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of the wholesale distribution industry and its dynamics

• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment

• Proven skills in account management and ability to maintain strong client relationships.
