We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our Operations sites in Mölndal, Sweden. A role where you will work close with the Site Management Teams, the Production Controllers and the Finance Director in an international environment within the Medical Device industry.

We are expecting you to build close relationship to co-workers, to the Production Team, supporting with tasks such as inventory costing, creating financial forecasts, analyzing operational and business plans. In addition, you will be part of the monthly closing process.

You will work closely together with the Production Controller and report to Director Supply Chain Finance.
Responsibilities :
Support of the manufacturing activities including reporting, analysis and decision-making.
Support the manufacturing site to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reporting.
Facilitate month-end close activities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations related to product cost and inventory.
Supports the ERP production data, ensuring that the operations team is properly recording and reporting inventory and cost related transactions.
Supports the review of the manufacturing variances and the understanding of the detail transactions.
Oversees the preparation of various analysis including manufacturing costs and variances including spend and absorption.
Acts as a liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Distribution and Marketing to ensure effective and efficient processes involving inventory logistics.
Serves as a key member of the extended site leadership team providing financial expertise to the organization.
To succeed in this role, you need strong analytical skills paired with Financial knowledge of manufacturing environments. It will also be key to build relationship and collaborations across the organization. You need to be comfortable working in a global and dynamic business environment. A strong candidate will be results focused, able to execute across multiple priorities and tasks, and strong problem-solving skills.
Background / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
4+ years of experience in cost accounting, and / or related experience in finance or accounting.
Knowledge of costing methodologies and volume & spend variance analysis strongly preferred.
Firm knowledge of policies and practices involved in financial management, accounting principles/procedures, and capital project evaluation.
Knowledge of principles and practices involved in the implementation of audit standards with heavy emphasis on SOX and internal controls.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is an advantage.
Some domestic and / or international travel may be required.
