Job Description

A top aerospace client is looking for an on-site Accounting Manager in Mojave, CA. The successful candidate will coordinate daily Costpoint accounting operations, manage and develop accounting staff, and oversee financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable. Responsibilities also include supporting audits, approving reconciliations, collaborating on process enhancements, analyzing trial balances, and maintaining compliance with GAAP, FAR, and CAS standards. The role demands a proactive approach to internal control development, process automation, and support for various business functions, ensuring the organization's financial integrity and operational efficiency. The salary ranges from $150,000-$185,000/yr.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments

Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field

Minimum 5 years experience in accounting management, with a focus on government compliance

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Knowledge of GAAP/FAR, cost pools/allocations

Proficient with Deltek Costpoint ERP Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or equivalent experience

Aerospace industry experience

Experience in a rapid development and prototyping environment null
