As Vice President of Marketing, Insurance & Annuity Products, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead and develop key growth initiatives for RiverSource at Ameriprise Financial. You will provide strategic thought leadership for the marketing organization, leading teams focused on developing and maintaining marketing programs, training and education, and sales strategies. You will be responsible to lead all aspects of development, implementation, and communication plans to achieve RiverSource strategic priorities and will be accountable to drive results. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across RiverSource as well as key partners across Ameriprise. Key Responsibilities Ensure programs are aligned with enterprise-wide priorities through proactive communication with key partners. Accountable for overall program results including developing methods to track effectiveness of implemented programs/initiatives and providing program results to senior leaders with recommendations to sustain or improve results. Develop advisor engagement strategies to include outcome focused themes, compelling sales and education content for advisors and wholesalers to drive growth initiatives. Create product level sales strategies for Insurance and Annuities, delivered by wholesalers and advisors. Be a liaison for cross-organizational requests for subject matter expertise on Insurance and Annuity products. Strong partner with sales leaders to advocate for the wholesaler and advisor marketing needs to drive high awareness of key marketing resources to implement and leverage with advisors and their clients. Lead the innovation and development of RiverSource programs that support the Ameriprise strategic priorities. Build relationships with key internal and external partners. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (4-years). Active Series 7 and 24 or ability to obtain within 120 days (If multiple exams are required, they can be done consecutively and an additional 90-day window will be added after successfully passing each exam). 10+ years of relevant marketing experience within financial services or insurance sales and marketing. 7+ years of leadership experience. Expertise managing, prioritizing, leading, and executing multiple projects coupled with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lead and motivate teams with diverse responsibilities. Strong, demonstrated verbal and written skills to articulate informed points of view to a variety of audiences. Self-starter with ability to work independently and think critically. There will be some travel associated with this role.
