We are builders at heart, working to ensure the built environment has a lasting positive impact.Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the ServiceNow platform through developing solutions in the tool, advanced troubleshooting, resolution of issues and liaising with business partners to identify and document business requirements, research, and analyze options, design, test technical solutions, and creating a pipeline of work for the team. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead our ServiceNow development team to work with end-users, other IT technical resources and/or Application Support to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues. Work with stakeholders to collect requirements and create development work. Lead the team in prioritizing and assigning ServiceNow development work. Lead the direction of the ServiceNow platform. Creating and developing on the ServiceNow platform. Tier 3 escalation point for issues and troubleshooting on the ServiceNow platform. Investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options. These solutions could include modifications to the set up and configuration of existing modules, enhancements to modules, and/or implementation of new Application modules. Function as resident team expert for all issues within ServiceNow Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements and work with the appropriate teams to interpret requirements. Perform requirements analysis, functional and technical design specifications, utilizing current systems methodologies and tools. Unit test and perform peer reviews of code changes and documentation. Work with other teams, as required, to make recommendations on efficient use of application features and capability to enhance the customer experience. Develop and maintain test plans and test scripts. Work with other teams, as required, to make recommendations on efficient use of ServiceNow features and capability to enhance the customer experience. Follow departmental standards and best practices as defined (i.e. development standards, application standards, naming conventions, etc.). Provide management with timely reporting as required. Understand the full suite of tools available to integrate ServiceNow between other applications and/or vendors. Mentor team members on best practices related to current technologies, as required. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. Delegate work to others on the team. Train coworkers on the ServiceNow platform. All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. With an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in ServiceNow. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to manage schedules and prioritize work accordingly. Desire to broaden technical, functional, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum five years' experience in administering and developing on the ServiceNow platform JavaScript experience Experience and basic understanding of ITIL methodologies. Experience in analytical, project management, and client facing work. Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other applications/vendors using APIs. Working experience with the following preferred: Agile Scrum methodology PowerShell scripting Ansible Automation Platform and using YAML PowerBI report development with a ServiceNow connector ServiceNow ATF scripting OAuth 2.0 Review and identify data access conflicts where segrega ion of duties are required. Ability to troubleshoot. Excellent critical thinking skills, detail oriented. Ability to respectfully challenge others. ServiceNow instance management - schedule clone downs, post refresh steps and testing using ATF scripts, work with multiple teams to manage non-production environments. ServiceNow upgrading/patching and reviewing skips.
