Job Description

Our Client is a CNC precision machine shop that specializes in quick turnaround, short lead time parts. They utilize CNC machines, manual machines, swiss machines, and primarily focus on prototypes. The facility handles both sheet metal and machined parts.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts taken off the floor, including sheet metal and machined parts

  • Conduct incoming parts inspections

  • Perform first article inspections using CMM and hand tools

  • Read and interpret blueprints

  • Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality control

  • Conduct visual inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience with CMMs

  • 3+ years of experience with inspection

  • Proficiency in GD&T

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Experience with hand tools, micrometers, and calipers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Machining work history

  • Experience with vision systems (OGP)

  • 2+ years of experience with PCDIMS

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to minimal PCDMIS experience

Work Environment

You will be one of two individuals in the quality department on the first shift. The shop is relatively small and well-maintained, providing a comfortable work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00
