The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. This role ensures the optimal performance of our software applications and systems under varying workloads and conditions. This position involves conducting performance testing, analyzing results, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance. How you'll create opportunities in this Performance Test Engineer role: * Conduct performance testing and analysis for applications and systems to guarantee peak performance. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, developing effective strategies for resolution. * Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams to pinpoint and resolve performance issues while implementing performance enhancements. * Develop and execute performance testing plans and methodologies. * Monitor system performance metrics, craft strategies to optimize performance and capacity. * Participate in the design and development of new systems and features to ensure they meet performance and scalability standards. * Create and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes. * Conduct load testing and stress testing to verify that IT systems can effectively handle high traffic and heavy usage scenarios. * Document performance test results and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders. * Develop performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge the performance of IT systems and applications. * Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to effectively communicate performance data to stakeholders. * Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for performance engineering within the organization. * Collaborate with project managers to ensure the inclusion of performance testing in the software development lifecycle. * Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools and techniques to continuously enhance performance engineering practices.
