Job Overview Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Duty Driver at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. Duty Drivers will utilize a Salvation Army vehicle to pick up and transport beneficiaries, and/or employees to and from specified destinations. Also performs errands such as delivering packages or inter-office mail, or picking up supplies, as requested by supervisor. Pay Rate: $15.97 Status: Part Time, 20 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities Transport beneficiaries to and from work therapy assignments or approved activities such as doctor's appointments, court, etc.. Transport Salvation Army personnel to and from official business. Perform other deliveries, pick- ups, or errands as assigned by supervisor. Responsible for loading and unloading of assigned vehicle when making deliveries or pick-ups. Wear provided back guard when doing any substantial lifting or moving. Responsible for the safety and security of assigned vehicle, including securing of vehicle at end of day. Perform daily inspections to maintain equipment in good operating condition. If assigned vehicle falls under DOT regulations, must comply with all applicable regulations. Promptly report to immediate supervisor all accidents involving assigned vehicle, personal injury, or property damage. Immediately report other types of problems to immediate supervisor through the dispatcher. Act as a personal representative of The Salvation Army and ensure that all passengers and other individuals are treated courteously. Maintain a neat personal appearance. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or Administrator. Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army.
