Internal University grant application. 2.) Society or foundation grant application, and 3.) National NIH or DOD grant application. Write, edit, and submit for possible publication three manuscripts over the period of three months. On average this combines to supervising one grant application and one manuscrit per month as a benchmark. Overview An experienced project manager is needed to join our surgical research team. The project manager will: 1.) oversee project development, 2.) ensure progress on research projects and manuscript preparation, and 3.) assist in the writing of multiple competitive grant applications. This position requires a leader who coordinates multiple teams, manages project timelines, and drives initiatives from conception to execution. The successful candidate will coordinate project objectives, manage resources, and communicate clearly. The project manager must facilitate the process of surgical research to guide projects and competitive grant applications from initiation to manuscript submission for potential publication. Responsibilities The project manager will: 1.) Lead and manage multiple surgical research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and driving project objectives forward. 2.) Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, and benchmark goals. 3.) Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to research team members. 4.) Monitor and report on project progress, prepare status reports and present findings to surgical faculty and research team members. 5.) Identify areas for improvement and lessons learned for future surgical research projects.
