Job Summary: The Manager Business Technology Solutions oversees the teams who support our internal business systems. As part of the IT planning process, the Manager Business Technology Solutions aligns corporate strategic goals and objectives with IT decisions regarding products and services, partners and suppliers, and key business and IT initiatives. Primary focus areas include improving business operations and processes by analyzing, designing, and implementing IT business solutions. The Manager Business Technology Solutions will work with members of the Network Technology & Operations team and Surescripts business functions to analyze, design, build, test, and deploy enterprise level IT solutions. Responsibilities:IT Planning Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals and assist in determining the implications to the business IT strategy and roadmaps Define and document the set of strategic, core, and support processes that will be used throughout the organization. Develop an IT business technology architecture strategy based on relevant inputs from the business. Translate the IT business technology architecture strategy into executable business and technology plans/roadmaps delivered across multiple phases Provide direct input into the governance cycle that supports the achievement of key business IT goals, including planning and execution of various business scenarios, and delivery of bottom line business value Create and present business IT deliverables and recommendations to senior leadership, exhibiting exceptional communication skills while driving executive buy-in. Solution Design and Implementation Assist the VP Business Technology Solutions & Operations in holding end-to-end responsibilities for the analysis, selection, design, build, test, and deployment of enterprise level solutions, including the assessment of viable solution options, based on industry best practices. Lead work with internal and external partners to document the following, for new products and product enhancements Business workflow and process diagrams Business use cases (high-level product business requirements) Business requirements Other business documents as required Present and lead review discussions of the documentation; finalize documents for walkthrough and communication to the implementation team. Collaborate with architects and analysts to help create detailed business requirements, data requirements, and technical system requirements. Provide oversight to implementation, ensuring goals and timelines are met. Escalate to project and business management as needed when goals and timelines will not be met. Serve as trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders during solution design and implementation. Work with business owners and stakeholders to establish plans for long-term maintenance and user support models to include how change requests are managed. Monitor the transitions from deployment to operationalized models for business systems to reduce risk and ensure systems are stabilized and following established plans for maintenance modes. Collaborate with VP Business Technology Solutions & Operations, business owners, and IT stakeholders to create a model for system training for go-live and ongoing new user training. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 8+ years of IT work experience including architecture design, systems life cycle management, and business analysis 5+ years of experience managing projects and driving execution 3+ years of people management experience or experience in roles showing progressive leadership. Expe ience in the configuration, installation and deployment of Salesforce.com administrative modules including user administration, security (profiles and controls), data management, communication templates/emails and system monitoring Experience applying architectural principles to business solutions Ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations. Experience showing a collaborative or consultative approach to providing technical solutions to solve business problems Experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Change management experience Experience in B2B / e-commerce transaction processing Experience in industry standards such as NCPDP, X12, HL7, FHIR Technical support; QA or systems analyst experience Training or experience with software development life cycle processes, including Agile development Experience consulting with various levels of company and IT Management aimed at the creation and documentation of business process models Experience in Health Care Information Technology Surescripts embraces flexibility through its Flexible Hybrid Work model for most positions. At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $139,200 - $170,200 per year.
