Honeywell CNC Set Up Machinist - 2nd shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Shift: 2pm - 10pm
Pay rate: $35.21/hr + $1.10/hr shift differential
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot one or more CNC/ASM milling and/or turning machines simultaneously with other auxiliary machines. Perform diversified work when setting up and operating tape operated machines. Works with Engineering Personnel on trial run and special parts doing any type of job with or without Methods Layouts, working from prints and Engineering sketches.
Key Responsibilities
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of CNC/ASM machines which perform a variety of operations such as, but not limited to; boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
Performs specified quality checks on piece parts, trial run and experimental parts using a variety of standard and special measuring devices to maintain quality of parts produced.
Performs set-up teardown work as directed by Group Leader or Supervisor.
Assists in analyzing and planning work load for group operations, and follows up on instructions, performance and quality.
Assists Group Leader in maintaining supply levels, ordering new supplies and tools as required, and completes necessary shop orders and shop records.

The annual base salary range for this position is <$35.21>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
4 years experience at level "A" with demonstrated productivity skills and ability, this includes a 6 months evaluation period

Must be willing and able to work in a "work cell" environment and dedicated to high quality of work.
Machine Shop working environment.
Typical dexterity to set-up and operate CNC/ASM equipment.
Must work with coolant and oil materials.
Must wear safety glasses with side shields.
Maintains good housekeeping practices.
Average to heavy weight lifting required.
