MCW: SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER Program Coordinator I in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As a Program Coordinator I in the Department of Medicine you will contribute to the productivity of an engaged multidisciplinary team focused on the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer program at Children\'s Wisconsin, Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin\'s Clinical Cancer Center. Coordinate the daily administrative activities, research, and patient referrals of the program. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program\'s goals. Primary Functions Collaborate on the development of program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports. Lead efforts to align Children\'s Wisconsin and Froedtert/MCW Cancer Center AYA patient support activities, including coordination of AYA team meetings, refining program short- and long-term goals, and interfacing with service providers at both sites. Interface with clinical teams to help facilitate referrals for supportive care. Identify research and quality improvement opportunities and liaison to philanthropic foundations. Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program. Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines for program components. Monitor program budget. Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events. Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data. Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. #LI-SN1 Preferred Schedule: M-F 8-5 Position Requirements: Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor\'s degree Minimum Required Experience: 2 years Preferred Education: Degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Sciences, or related field. Preferred Experience: Demonstrated experience in cancer survivorship research, education or relevant experience in community health or chronic health care.
