FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: In conjunction with general administrative and service line medical direction, the Manager of Heart & Vascular Programs and Quality is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance quality improvement, clinical excellence, and value-based care. In this pivotal role, the manager will be responsible for advancing strategic priorities by collaborating with clinical teams, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing innovative practices that elevate patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing quality improvement programs, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Will lead efforts to identify areas for improvement, utilizing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and resource allocation. Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the heart & vascular quality team. Responsible for the training and orientation of all direct reports, ensuring competenc ies and is responsible for all human resource aspects. Other duties as assigned based on service line and system needs. Reports to the Director of Heart & Vascular Strategic Programs. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of five years related work experience in a complex academic and community medical center environment with demonstrated ability in new program implementation, process and change management, and data management. Formal or informal experience leading people or teams to achieve an objective or goal is required. Successful work experience in cardiovascular healthcare delivery is preferred. Prior facilitation and coordination of regulatory/accreditation site survey experience in a hospital setting is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors degree in a healthcare related field is required. Masters degree is required. Bachelors in nursing is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Advanced understanding of clinical or operational processes, clinical data analysis, quality improvement, workflow, and clinical terminologies. Proven ability to direct the activities of project personnel toward successful execution of the assigned programs. Knowledge of requirements for healthcare organizations from agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and other regulatory groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Able to facilitate meetings. Interpersonal skills to collaborate with leaders/departments to develop, monitor, and maintain improvement strategies for compliance with established standards. Organizational skills to handle multiple projects. Must be familiar with issues and operations of a multidisciplinary service line regarding internal and external (including governmental) functions. PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: WI RN Licensure preferred.
