Amazon Ads is launching a new program to expand advertising adoption for Amazon business advertising products. We're creating a business that will reshape how companies connect and advertise within the Amazon business-to-business (B2B) industry. We're seeking a sales-focused Account Manager who thrives on building new programs and exploring opportunities while maintaining our commitment to advertiser success.
As a Sales Account Manager, you'll oversee large advertisers while helping develop our new program. We are looking for a unique profile who combines consultative sales expertise with program development skills. You'll collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities, create strategic plans, and drive adoption of new advertising solutions. We're looking for someone who thinks strategically, adapts quickly, and finds creative solutions in a dynamic business environment. You'll manage a substantial client portfolio, providing both hands-on customer service and strategic guidance. Working in a matrix organization, you'll partner with account teams while managing your own advertiser portfolio.
This new business initiative operates in a dynamic environment of continuous testing and learning. Joining at the ground floor means dealing with ambiguity will be routine. You'll need to be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, adapting strategies based on real-time insights, and guiding clients through this journey. We seek someone who can balance current execution while helping define the program's future. You'll play a crucial role in business and program development, including creating standardized client onboarding processes, developing feedback loops with product teams, and building success measurement frameworks.
Key job responsibilities
Own business development and execution of Amazon Business advertising program across a portfolio of large customer sales advertisers
Identify and build relationships with decision-makers across enterprise organizations, mapping complex organizational structures to find revenue opportunities and the right points of contact
Drive new business development through consultative selling, including pipeline building, opportunity management, and strategic negotiations to expand adoption of Amazon Business advertising solutions
Guide clients through the adoption of new advertising products while ensuring performance targets are met
Partner with existing account teams to identify opportunities and create integrated advertising solutions
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence product development roadmap
Develop and implement scalable processes for program success, including creating standardized approaches for client onboarding and success measurement frameworks
Basic Qualifications
5+ years work experience, Advertising industry and Sales role
Experience in digital advertising
Full Funnel experience in Omni-channel marketing, display, over-the-top (OTT) and search marketing
Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and building new business relationships
Adept at solving problems that span bus
iness and technology
- Influence process improvement that scales broadly; inventing and simplifying within existing processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B digital advertising
Experience in launching new products or services to large customer clients
Bachelors’ degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or Business; MBA is a plus
Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
Proven track record of delivering results (including revenue targets) and significantly contributing to advertiser revenue growth
