Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems. This role involves working as part of a production team and requires attention to detail and the ability to work with small parts and various tools.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.
Sort and place material or items on tables, racks, or bins.
Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.
Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
Pack, seal, and move boxes.
Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
Assembly
Blueprint reading
Wiring assembly
Use of hand tools and power tools
Sheet metal work
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer
Associate's degree or certificate in a technical area
Assembly or manufacturing experience
High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment
Experience in the space or aeronautical field

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
