Job Summary:

ACT is seeking a System Support Specialist to provide technical and administrative support of all computerized assets including desktop, software, telephone, internet, and networking support for users as well as maintain and enhance hardware and software to maximize efficiency of network and users' utilization of them.  The position plays a significant role in securing the company's physical and information assets, including but not limited to hardware, software, intellectual property and firewall.

Must Have Qualifications:

  1. Associates degree in computer science
  2. 2 years' experience in network administration or commensurate experience including windows, server configuration and TCP/IP protocols.
  3. Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving desktop, server, network and software issues.
  4. Demonstrated ability using remote connectivity to correct computer issues.
  5. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  6. Configuration knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and related software packages.
  7. Linux and Active directory user administration and Exchange mailbox creation experience a plus.
  8. Ability to diagnose complex hardware and software installations and repair them back to working order.
  9. Familiarity with cybersecurity, ability to research for current vulnerability exploits.
  10. Ability to turn cybersecurity requirements into a plan of action and implement the actions to secure the company's perimeter.
  11. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others.
  12. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
