Job Description

Role: Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Implement motion control systems.

Manage network communications.

Perform system level programming in C#.

Develop embedded systems using C/C++ programming.

Design and implement GUI (graphical user interface).

Participate in all aspects of the Software Lifecycle, including development, testing, design, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

Ability to discuss the following topics in detail from schooling or professional experience: Data structures & algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, computer networks.

Experience with GUI (graphical user interface) design and implementation.

Relevant co-op or internships.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.

System level programming experience ideally in C# (Java experience will also be considered).

Plus:

Experience with GUI development in C#.

Knowledge or experience in motion control.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background and relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field. They should have system level programming experience, ideally in C#, and be able to discuss topics such as data structures & algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, and computer networks in detail. Experience with GUI design and implementation is required, and experience with GUI development in C# is a plus. Knowledge or experience in motion control is also a plus. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Software Lifecycle, including development, testing, design, and documentation. Relevant co-op or internships are required.
