What is the job about?

Manager to ensure service on our pumps and hardware

Do you want to develop and maintain the world’s most sustainable pumps? Join us to ensure that all Grundfos products are serviceable and that we deliver the right service offerings to our customers.

The Head of Service & Solution Taiwan has the functional responsibility for all service activities within the Country.

Furthermore, you are responsible for the implementation of the strategic servicepriorities, procedures and policies, as agreed with the Regional Service & Solution Director and in alignment with Group Standards, Values and Code of Conduct. The Head of Service & Solution Taiwan works in close collaboration with the Regional Service & Solution Support function ensuring efficiency and added value for our customers. It is particularly important that the Head of Service & Solution Taiwan with support from Health&Safety function is acting as a safety leader, maintaining a positive safety culture and ensuring that H&S is operated professionally throughout the Country in order to keep our people and Partners safe.

Your main responsibilities

Objectives

  • Creates the detailed service strategy plan and operational roadmap for the Country, supporting the agreed Regional Service & Solution strategy.

  • Revises these plans to deliver the agreed short- and long-term results.

  • In alignment with Service & Solution Support functions, ensures that the Country deploys a customer-centric and efficient delivery model.

Short-term plans and budgets

  • Responsible for short-term plans and budgets being created and delivered within the agreed organizational frames of reference.

  • Responsible for the Country Service & Solution Cap Cost

Service

  • Responsible for delivering high service to exceed the expectations of our customers while ensuring efficiency and added value.

  • Responsible for developing teams of highly-skilled service staff and Service Partners.

  • Builds a good partnership with Sales and Service Sales PUs throughoutthe Country and facilitates collaboration between Sales and Service teams, operation and finance thus contributing to a positive customer experience.

  • Responsible for executing a price policy for service offerings and spare parts/kits in accordance with the requirements of the Sales and Service sales PUs.

  • Responsible for implementing global processes and tools to ensure efficiency and add value for our customers.

  • Responsible for ensuring spare parts stock is kept to a minimum in the area of responsibility

External relations

  • Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers, service partners, end-users, suppliers, local communities and other important relevant stakeholders in the area of responsibility.

  • Jointly responsible for overseeing/auditing ASP/SP workshop and service delivery

Investments

  • Responsible for developing the investment roadmap to ensure the team meets its operational requirements, creates a good working environment and provides a market-leading service offering.

  • Investments are approved annually as part of the budget cycle and are to comply with the appropriate authorization guidelines and Group-related processes.

Purchase

  • Whenever possible, all relevant purchasing decisions, e.g. Service vehicles, should rest with Group Purchasing. When this is not possible, purchasing decisions should conform with regional/local best practices in accordance with Group Purchasing policies/guidelines.

Systems & Tools

  • Responsible for creating a framework within the area of responsibility that ensures systems, processes and procedures conform with the established concepts of Service Excellence.

  • IS systems are to be operated in line with Group IS policies.

Organisational development

  • Jointly responsible for ensuring the team meets and exceeds the appropriate employee satisfaction/motivation metrics.

  • Creates a pool of both good-performing and succession-ready employees to facilitate operational and growth targets.

  • Responsible for implementing and deploying Grundfos People yearly cycle activities in the service unit and using these activities to develop, redesign, motivate and deliver the best performance of all cluster / local service employees.

People

  • Responsible for the recruitment, selection, retention, and conclusion of the service employees within the team in accordance with the Group Policies and local laws and requirements when applicable. All cases should be approved by the Regional Service & Solution Director and the Service HR Business Partner.

  • Responsible for ensuring that Region meets or exceeds appropriate service training and educational levels across the service organization.

Financial matters

Responsible for providing feed-back on service operational related KPIs and achieving the agreed operational (and sales) targets.

Your background :

We imagine that you have:

  • Experience developing and implementing overall operating processes, primarily within the service environment.

  • Experience developing and implementing key strategic initiatives within a complex business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment.

  • Extensive experience operating and leading a large team and/or complex process, preferably within the service environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience with team size more than 6

  • Background of leading and growing other leaders in a team or department with significant knowledge of best practices, relevant policies, systems, processes, local laws and regulations where that may influence execution opportunities.

  • SAP/SAP CS will be beneficial

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
