The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing and processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions. This includes check requests, check disbursements, bank reconciliations, deposits, credit cards and other items, as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processes accounts payable invoices daily.

• Investigates accounts payable invoices discrepancies or other issues as necessary.

• Properly codes all invoices for processing.

• Financial Policies & ProceduresProcesses requisitions and purchase orders in compliance with all purchasing policies, if applicable.

• Reviews accounts payable aging on a consistent basis and works with supervisor and / or client manager on weekly check runs.

• Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with the accounting department, clients, suppliers and vendors, as needed.

• Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested.

• Make deposits into client bank accounts, as needed.

• Manage client bank account balances and security protocols.

• Records all banking transactions, including ACH, manual checks, deposits, etc., ensuring proper documentation is received.

• Prepare Bank Statements for reconciliation.

• Manages credit card processes and collects receipts.

• Reconciles Credit Card Statements.

• Manages multiple client email accounts on a daily basis.

• Any other duties assigned.
