Procurement Amazon Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and organized Transport Coordinator to manage and optimize the shuttle commute service for our associates within the last-mile delivery stations. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency of route execution, vendor management, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, operational follow-up, and vendor relationship management skills to ensure timely execution of itineraries while aligning with Amazon’s high standards.
Key job responsibilities
Transportation Operations Management: Manage the regional Shuttle Commute Service for our associates.
Route Validation & Execution: Ensure unit assignment and confirm associates are scheduled in the correct routes, itineraries and weekly route planning.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with transport suppliers and performance management to maximize operational efficiency.
Compliance: Validation of billing, unit availability, support platforms, training programs, third-party vendors, maintenance, and service quality to ensure compliance with Amazon standards.
Cost efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities through route audits, unit allocation assessments, and performance evaluations through associates of transportation execution.
Key Point of Contact: Serve as the liaison between People Experience & Technology (PXT), Operations (Ops), and Procurement Operations (ProcOps) to coordinate operational needs and escalations.
Performance Reporting: Participate in Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) with vendors to assess key metrics and improvements. Conduct in-person audits along with vendor to ensure compliance of the transportation units and report findings such as: incident reports, delays and other operations issues.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of procurement experience
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
High school or equivalent diploma
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of telecommunication technology experience
