Title and Summary

Associate Analyst, Settlement Operations

Overview

The Arcus by Mastercard Settlement team is looking for an Associate Analyst to drive our financial and customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will support multiple internal and external customers and be responsible for the daily settlement of billpay, topups and cash transactions and reconciliations, including IFPE, to ensure accuracy and driving process improvements.

Role

In this position, you will:

• Reconcile daily settlement for customers, update our enterprise platform, execute funds transfers, and manage the collection of payments

• Investigate differences in reconciliation and liaise with internal teams and/or clients to resolve.

• Analyze customer behavior to ensure payments are received/paid timely to mitigate financial risk to the business.

• Identify and drive implementation of process improvements to increase operational efficiencies

• Reconcile daily balances related to IFPE activity, in connection with SPEI Operations Team.

All About You

• Bilingual – must be fluent in Spanish and English with effective communication skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Experience in managing banking platforms and SPEI payments knowledge preferred.

• Demonstrated success interacting working with partners across other business units and markets in support of cross-functional programs

• Results driven, flexible and adaptable; able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines

• Able to work through ambiguous concepts and issues to bring clarity to the stakeholders

• Problem solver and a strong team player with an eye for detail and focus on accuracy

• Knowledge of Microsoft product suite, Excel proficient
