What will you do

The tooling QA technician work hands on to inspect manufacturing tools and works side along with the operations and support team at Mexicali site to inspect tools like COBJ, Dies, Inspection Jigs to mention a few to analyze and report the actual condition via formal report and upload it to Team Center closing the tool inspection periodic cycle marked on the company procedures. The individual contributor propose, validates, and implement new an improved inspection methods to inspect tools looking at the current industry methods. Actively involved in real time problem resolution to improve the actual process. Validates that the current inspection equipment is the correct for the critical characteristic to inspect running an R&R study or similar. Evaluates progress and results and determines improvements that may be needed to achieve objectives.

Qualifications you must have:

• Experience reading and interpreting design drawings

• English level: Medium to High level

• Knowledge on GD&T, CATIA basic

• Experience with dimensional inspection and coordinate measuring machine software (Build IT, Polywords, VxElements)

• Effective communication & TeamWork

Preferred:

• English 70%

• Currently studding Engineering or may have a bachelor’s degree in related field

• Knowledge in 365 office

• Experience with inspection equipment such as micrometer, caliper, Laser Tracker, Faro Arm, Creaform scan.

• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, carrying are generally required to perform the function of this position.

• Ability to lift 30 lbs
