Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the Metuchen, New Jersey area. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial records, supporting various departments, and contributing to effective cash flow management. Your efforts will play a crucial role in ensuring financial stability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee the organization’s financial records with accuracy and diligence.

• Provide essential financial support to various departments, facilitating smooth operational processes.

• Regularly monitor bank accounts, reconcile statements, and manage electronic payment systems.

• Support processes to manage cash flow, ensuring availability of funds for daily operations.

• Identify opportunities for and implement improvements in financial management practices.

• Ensure all financial transactions adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

• Streamline financial processes to enhance overall organizational efficiency.

• Deliver accurate and timely financial information to management, aiding in informed decision-making.

• Handle all bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate posting of payments.

• Allocate payments to corresponding Purchase Orders and manage payments based on aging reports.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing operations

• Experience with Cash Applications

• Skills in Cash Collections

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience with SAP
