Position Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting consolidation systems for US Therapeutics (U.S. TX). This involves ongoing maintenance and support, implementing system enhancements, and representing U.S. TX in future platform assessments and implementations. Additionally, the role supports U.S. TX Finance Future Fit (FFF) capability workstreams to ensure the successful execution of agreed initiatives, with a key focus on the Planning and Reporting Excellence workstream. U.S. Therapeutics comprises four therapeutic areas (TAs) with sales of approximately $42 billion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 2 highly motivated and engaged finance professionals by setting and aligning goals/priorities, motivating, and empowering the team to deliver exceptional results.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of consolidated financials in accordance with requirements from Global Commercial and Corporate.

  • Financial system administrator for U.S. TX BPC module, TM1-PAX, Franklin (Foundry based Pipeline Commercialization Strategy system), and Power BI. Lead system improvements projects and support of the U.S. TX finance organization with system related issues.

  • Co-Lead the Planning and Reporting Excellence Capabilities workstream as part of the Finance Future Fit program with a focus on process agility, data management, and technology as a core-enablers.

  • Support the execution of the system strategy which includes establishing overall data structure/governance, as well as implementing data visualization tools and collaboration tools. Core functionality includes P&L consolidation, Gross-to-Net (GtN), variance analysis, headcount, and balance sheet reporting.

  • Oversee FP&A COE by administering expense category Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing planning and reporting guidance to TA finance teams, and enhancing budget tracking tools.

  • Partner closely with the Finance Transformation Office (FTO) and U.S. TX FFF workstreams to champion finance planning process transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive finance related experience.

  • High level proficiency with SAP, BPC and PowerBi as well as proficiency with finance master data and consolidation systems.

  • Effective at delivering results in a highly matrix environment.

  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and systems.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with a keen sense of ownership and advanced team building skills.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to relay complex financial data in clear and simple terms.

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and an inquisitive mind-set.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
