Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounts Payable Specialist, based in Methuen, Massachusetts, United States. The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the telecom industry. The successful candidate will be expected to manage high-volume invoicing, bank deposits, and credit card processing.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner

• Execute bank deposits, ensuring all financial data is accurate

• Manage credit card processing tasks, including payment reconciliations and dispute resolution

• Utilize QuickBooks for all accounts payable functions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of financial transactions

• Proactively identify and address any issues or discrepancies in financial records

• Provide support to other team members and departments as required

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial data privacy standards

• Continuously improve knowledge and skills in accounts payable, staying updated about industry trends and best practices

• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions. Requirements • A minimum of one year of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks software

• Ability to handle high-volume invoicing with accuracy and efficiency

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
