SUMMARY
The Consultant must be innovative, energetic and driven to build new applications or retool legacy applications into world class solutions.
Customer Service is always Priority 1 . Systems availability, accuracy of information, and speed of delivery are the focal point of customer service.
The Consultant will lead efforts focused on realizing the business objectives as outlined in our tactical and strategic plans. He/She will craft a nimble, agile and swift implementation process and be responsible for working closely with the line of business to continually identify opportunities to streamline, consolidate and automate.
Required Qualifications:
Ten or more years of banking technology experience with a focus on servicing customers.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Technology Security, and DevOps.
Experience with strict segregation of technology duties. Specifically, enforcement developers have zero ability to impact production.
Technical team leadership experience delivering solutions with five or more years overseeing successful 7x24 production support.
Prior experience working in a pressured (dynamic, fast-paced) environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other discipline. Technology focus preferred.
Application lifecycle experience including proactive monitoring and end of life lookahead management.

Experience in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining highly qualified technical staff.
Experience providing technical direction and guidance to teams of application development personnel.
Coaching and mentoring junior team members must be a key focus.
Passion for learning new technologies, solving problems.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Ability to manage project duties, balance workload and meet internal/external deadlines.
Assigns personnel to various projects and direct activities.
Expertise in reviewing and evaluating work of subordinate staff and preparing performance reports.
Extensive experience in software development across multiple platforms.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills, leadership skills, and development skills.
Client-service orientation. Skilled in establishing and maintaining a high level of client trust and confidence in the group’s knowledge of and concern for clients’ needs.
Expertise in enterprise planning like technology recovery, BCP, strategic planning, etc.
Experience delivering projects using Agile.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical direction and guidance to teams of application development personnel.
Serve as the primary technical liaison for the transition of Mainframe and its ancillary components.
Document current state of our Mainframe and the Celeriti infrastructure and network dependencies and the target state.
Drive the transition program from FH side to ensure all pre-requisites for the migration are completed.
Manage the Network Infrastructure and security requirements, ordering and coordination with vendor and our internal resources.
Work with vendor to ensure we have end-to-end connectivity and we stay compliant.
Capture ownership of each individual components of the ecosystem.
Assist with other initiatives as needed.
Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, priorities and methods.
Prepares activity and progress reports.
Builds relationships with peer Managers – influences and negotiates deliverables.
Balances demand against internal capacity to meet delivery commitments and LOB expectations.
Works with the DCIO for effective and optimum use of resources within the group.
Provides accurate and timely forecasts and information for reporting; monitors project financials routinely; takes corrective action to meet financial objectives.
Assists in developing and monitoring key success metrics and quality standards.
Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements.
Interfaces with audit and other regulatory bodies and provides necessary information in appropriate manner.
Assists leadership in enterprise planning like technology recovery, BCP, strategic planning, etc.
