Oracle Aconex – Summer Intern (Software Engineer)

The Oracle Aconex team, under the Construction & Engineering division, provides an end-to-end offering for project management and delivery that enables customers to effectively plan, build, and operate construction projects. What we look for

We are looking for motivated intern software engineers to assist in the development and enhancement of leading SaaS application for the construction industry.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a versatile technology stack, including frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Oracle's cutting-edge technology stack.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals and gain a full understanding of the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of cloud-based applications

• Collaborate with senior developers, product managers, and UX designers to translate real client requirements into practical solutions

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality

• Assist in debugging and resolving software defects while learning industry standards in software testing

• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing

• Work within an Agile development process, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

About you

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident only

• Expected to complete or completed Bachelors in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field by December 2025

• Exposure to Java/JavaScript or other objected oriented programming languages

• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)

• Available to start full time internship in Summer 2025

• Available to commit to duration of 10-12 weeks full time

• Preferred location Melbourne (onsite & WFH)
