Oracle Data Centre Technician in MELBOURNE, Australia
Job Description
Review, action Incoming and open tickets, prioritize work based on ticket severity. Identifies and provides remediation feedback in defined processes. Creates shared documentation, either SOPs or support documentation. May occasionally collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities
Identifies, participates or creates SOPs for review. Contributes to improvement of processes and documentation. Perform replacements of FRUs. Troubleshoot and Resolve Telco connectivity issues Troubleshoot basic switch issues. Replace Switches, Process Cut sheets and Print cabinet and cabling labels. Intimate knowledge of trunk infrastructure, able to swap out failed trunk cables. Create MOS tickets for refresh parts. Conducts proactive walk of the data center, identify, report and troubleshoot alarms. Expected to have solid foundation of experience supporting servers, storage and networking technology. Seeks guidance when faced with issues above their ability to accurately support. Retrieve and print cut sheets for Pod Build outs. Effectively use tool sets to understand the operational state of equipment.
