Eaton Corporation Service Sales Manager - Medium Voltage in Mascot, Australia

In this newly created role, the Service Sales Manager will develop, own, and manage the Power Distribution (PD) services sales offer and go to market strategy. This role will support the sales and bid team in winning pipeline of new project tenders by driving new concurrent services offers. This role will work closely with the project team to deliver additional revenue during the execution stage. This role will own and actively manage existing installed base to deliver Eaton’s PD Services offer across the entire product life cycle.

This role will generate service sales in coordination and partnership with authorised service providers, customers, end users and sales representatives, driving revenue from existing installed base, installations, commissioning, scope changes, updates, retrofits, repairs, service contracts, maintenance, spare parts.

Key Duties:

  • PD service order and revenue ownership.

  • Quote management by directly quoting to end users and partners.

  • Installed base management.

  • Analyse and provide advice for customers’ existing equipment status and recommended replacement schedules.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources, schedules and key services project deliverables and outcomes.

  • Work with the project team and support driving variations, modernisation, and upgrade revenue during project execution cycle.

  • Work with the Bid, Sales and Engineering teams, and review project proposals or plan to maximise service sales offers and execution, determine timeframe, funding, scope, and resources requirements.

  • Develop, build, and manage network of external partners and contractors.

  • Establish, develop, and manage the service offer, pricing, promotion, go to market, service contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with after sales support, service, and solutions preferably in Medium or Low Voltage.

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering OR a trade qualification as an electrician.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated experience presenting, negotiating, and liaising with cross functional team members, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Customer focused attitude with business acumen across power distribution products and experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluation and servicing of switchgear system is highly desirable.

  • Computer Literacy - MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, SAP.
