Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

As our Warehouse Associate, you will be a crucial part of the team that keeps the heart of our operations running smoothly. Your role will focus on the physical handling of our products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the logistical aspects of our warehouse are efficient.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.

• Prepare documentation involved in the shipping process.

• Schedule trucks and pick-ups.

• Close out orders and provide freight quotes.

• Meet daily packaging targets.

• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality.

• Maintain inventory control and ensure warehouse inventory accuracy.

• Utilize Microsoft Office for various tasks.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting numbers accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Self-motivated team player.

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying conditions such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

• Ability to work on concrete floors and around powered industrial trucks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlboro, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
