SAP (Senior) UA Developer (f/m/d) for SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance in Markdorf, Germany

What youll do

We are looking for a (Senior) User Assistance Developer (f/m/d) to join our SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Product Compliance Team in Markdorf. As a UA Developer (f/m/d), you will work side by side with our development team on creating different kinds of high-quality documentation resources for our customers. You will have the opportunity to try out new features before anybody else and its up to you to come up with documentation that help our customers to use our software to its full potential.

The Product Compliance solutions we develop support companies in helping the world run better and more sustainably by operating with cleaner products. As a (Senior) User Assistance Developer (f/m/d), you will:

  • Create user assistance (UA) deliverables that enable users to use SAP software. UA deliverables include, but are not limited to, terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia (graphics and videos), scripts, context-sensitive help, API references.

  • Test the software you describe.

  • Contribute to the usability of the software by reviewing UI screens and texts.

  • Structure the content and select distribution channels according to the information needs of your target groups.

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders (developers, PO, PM) to constantly improve the quality of the documentation.

  • Prepare content for delivery, including the provision of metadata, following the standard processes and SAP guidelines.

  • Actively participate in cross-department/cross-company communities and projects to improve UA tools, processes, concepts, or content.

What you bring

  • Fluency in English and German

  • Practical experience in creating product documentation (preferably XML authoring or DITA)

  • Excellent communication skills, a passion for people and for passing on your knowledge to others

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Willingness to quickly acquire knowledge in new areas and adapt to change

  • Committed to high-quality work

  • Degree in languages, technical writing, or a related profession

  • Background in software development is considered an advantage
