Process/ExtrusionTechnician II Onsite Location: White Bear Lake, MN MUST BE LOCAL CANDIDATE Our client is looking for a technician to operate extrusion lines and that works under limited supervision assisting process development engineers and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. This role will be working heavily in a prototyping and tech development environment and will need to be eager to learn and adapt to lots of varying asks. We are looking for a highly motivated and hands on person that will collaborate with multiple functions to help bring prototyping ideas from concept to reality. Responsibilities: Operate extrusion lines to create prototypes/products per requests. Setup, tear down, and clean extrusion head assemblies and tooling Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues. Maintain and improve on current build tracking process and documentation. Use internal and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services. Communicate build status to engineers. Perform basic statistical analysis of results when required. Train others on new product processes and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 2-3 years of related experience. Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and collaboration in a technically demanding environment. Demonstrated ability to learn new technology/process. Preferred Qualifications: Hands on experience with equipment (extrusion or otherwise). Familiarity with extrusion. Medical device or other regulated industry experience including an understanding of the quality system. Experience working with polymers - particularly Pebax, Nylon, PEEK, Urethanes.
