job summary:

As a sit down forklift operator, you will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and load them onto assigned locations. You will also locate and move products on pallets or create pallets for storage or shipment. Daily tasks also include identifying damages, reporting shortages and quality deficiencies, keeping the lines stocked for the production team, communicating via radio, and operating the forklift safely. You will need to complete all safety checks at the start and end of the shift. You may be required to lift 30-50 pounds at a time. Your schedule is Monday through Thursday with mandatory overtime when needed. The mandatory overtime schedule will be posted every Wednesday. You will receive one 30 minute lunch & two 10 minute breaks.

work hours: 6:00PM to 4:30AM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

dress code:

Shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. A Randstad issued shirt will be given for Mon-Thur. Pants without any holes or rips can be worn. Shorts that are no shorter than 2 inches above the knee are permitted in areas that are not considered a hot process. Wear full length pants on your first day and confirm with your supervisor if shorts are permitted in your area. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non-slip footwear only. Steel toes are not required.
