Ramada by Wyndham Manama City Centre is now seeking a Barista to join our team in Bahrain.
Job Summary
The Barista is responsible for delivering great service to all guests, being knowledgeable and professional in doing so. The Barista is mostly responsible for preparing orders for the guest and also taking order from guest whenever required.
Education & Experience
Atleast 1 year experience as a Barista .
Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
Basic math skills
Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements
General Requirements
Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas and other specialty drinks
Properly handle and maintain all equipment
Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
Serve guests quickly and efficiently
Take orders with attention to detail, such as allergies and preferences
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
Stock guest service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
Prepare beverages according to instruction
Showcase creativity by incorporating latte art into beverages, adding an aesthetic touch to the overall presentation.
Engage with guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations, describing beverages varieties, and offering a personalized experience.
Ensure accuracy in fulfilling guest orders, paying attention to details such as milk preferences, flavor additions, and any special requests.
Rotate stock and track expiration dates to guarantee the freshness of ingredients.
Prepare orders and convey them to other Team members for preparation.
Take out garbage.
Fundamental Requirements
Maintain espresso and brewing equipment to ensure proper function and identify repair or maintenance needs
Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Weigh, grind or pack coffee beans for customers.
Wrap, label, or date food items for sale
Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines.
Set up or restock product displays.
Slice fruits, desserts, for use in food service.
Work collaboratively with other staff members, including kitchen team members and management, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
Provide support during busy periods, assisting with tasks such as customer service, cleaning, and restocking.
