Title: Building Maintenance Helper 1Base Salary or Hourly:$37,228

Minimum Qualifications: On or before the date of the exam or appointment, to be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: A) Completion of a two (2) year vocational building trades, HVAC or electrical program with certificate achieved; or an apprentice or training program in one of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical; or B) One year of experience in minor maintenance, repair work, custodial duties, or in one of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical; or C) Satisfactory equivalent combination of the above education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: (Copy of drivers license must accompany application) If the position requires, candidate must possess an appropriate valid New York State Drivers License and a driving record acceptable to the Countys insurance carrier at time of application, maintained throughout employment.
