JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business mentors and develops real estate MS and MBA students as future leaders in the commercial real estate industry. Currently (2024-25) there are 80+ Real Estate MS and MBA students. The Teaching Faculty III for the Real Estate Private Equity (REPE) Program is responsible for administrative oversight of the REPE Graduate Track and teaching courses in the REPE Track curriculum (18-credit curriculum). This position will teach 18 credits with additional responsibilities to include connecting students to industry professionals including WREAA Fund Investors, WREAA members, REPE Investment Committee, and Graaskamp Center Advisory Board to provide a range of industry, curricular, and co-curricular activities. Occasional overnight and out-of-state (domestic and global) travel is expected. Principal Duties: Instructional Activity - Teach graduate or undergraduate courses in Real Estate Private Equity (and possibly other courses), with responsibility for course development, curriculum assessment, and course website and Dropbox. - Design and organize learning experiences, secure guest speakers, and engage the REPE Investment Committee and WREAA Fund General Partners in workshops and/or discussions in the classroom. - Lead site visits and field trips focused on industry-specific learning, program visibility and networking. - Supervise and advise REPE graduate student groups on equity offering investments. - Benchmark and map curricula and learning outcomes against best practice. Program Management - Serve as the primary contact person for the Graaskamp Center REPE Track. - Establish budget for the REPE Program and work with Center and Department staff to update and monitor REPE funds throughout the year. - Establish operating procedures for efficient program delivery of all aspects of the REPE Track and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the REPE Track. - Execute the strategic priorities and goals of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate with the Director and support the broader School strategic priorities.
