Job Title: Sample SpecialistJob Description

Join our team for a dynamic 6-month project with the potential for a contract-to-hire position as a Sample Specialist. This role operates on a 1st shift schedule, preferably from 6 am to 2:30 pm, though we are open to 7 am to 3:30 pm. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19. As a Sample Specialist, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the efficient handling and tracking of samples and supplies within our laboratory. Your responsibilities will expand from merely delivering samples to encompassing supply management, using our NIMS database for tracking, and assisting with chemical mixtures for testing purposes. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in various areas such as glassware washing, inventory management, and disposal processes to provide support during absences. This role requires standing for the majority of the day and flexibility to accommodate approximately 5 hours of overtime per week depending on workload.

Hard Skills
