JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN Venous Access Team (VAT) - 32397 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Description: Work Schedule : 70% FTE, evening/night shift with rotating weekends/holidays. This position covers University Hospital, American Family Children\'s Hospital, UW Health East Madison Hospital, and Eastpark Medical Center (opening Fall of 2024) located in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: * Join our Venous Access Team (VAT) as a highly specialized nursing professional who focuses on the assessment, insertion, and maintenance of Dobhoff tubes and venous access devices for all age groups, including difficult to start peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC). * Provide consultative services and education to nursing and medical staff as needed. * Participate in development, maintenance and implementation of educational initiatives, policies, and procedures. * Maintain a collaborative relationship with multiple disciplines and team members who excel at interpersonal communication, prioritizing, leadership, strategic planning, critical thinking, and decision-making.
