The Respiratory Therapy Assistant (RTA) is a respiratory student who is currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or is a recent graduate working towards licensure. The RTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT). RTAs are responsible for providing basic respiratory care to adult, non-intensive patients.
*If at any point the RTA withdraws from or is not in good standing in the Respiratory Therapy Program, their employment will be terminated.

Required Qualifications
Enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or recent graduate working toward licensure.
Upon successful completion of Respiratory Therapy program, must obtain licensure within 3 months.
Should license not be obtained, the RTA may be terminated from the RTA position
Upon completion of licensure, the RTA will be eligible for reemployment as a Respiratory therapist
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills
