Job Title: Lab Supervisor

Job Description

Join our dynamic Analytical Development Team as a Lab Supervisor, where you will lead a group of 6 talented chemists. Your primary role involves overseeing the method development and validation of new pharmaceutical compounds from early conception through clinical trials to commercialization. You will be drafting new methods and validations, predominantly focusing on project management and supervisory responsibilities rather than hands-on lab work.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated/self-sufficient/self-starter

• Can manage their own tasks

• Self-aware- be able to give feedback and know your limitations when you give and receive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related STEM field

• Associates Degree (Required)

• 3-5+ years of GMP lab experience

• 3-5+ years of Development and Validation experience ideal

• 3-5+ years of Analytical Chemistry experience running HPLC, GC, dissolution

• Testing in pharmaceutical manufacturing

Work Environment

Work in a modern, expanded Quality Control lab with a team-oriented setting. The environment features shared spaces for chemists and individual desks for scientist-level professionals. Our lab houses four chemistry teams, each supervised by experienced leaders managing 4-5 chemists.
