JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: As part of the External Relations marketing team, the alumni relations specialist will work both independently and collaboratively to plan, coordinate and execute the college\'s major events, alumni and stakeholder engagement efforts and communications to support the college\'s strategic goals and initiatives. The alumni relations specialist is responsible for planning events to build stronger alumni and stakeholder relationships, enhancing annual giving efforts and assisting with marketing projects. This position requires creativity, critical thinking, project management, and the ability to work with internal and external groups. The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is a top-ranked engine of scientific discovery, with researchers working in biological sciences; health and nutrition; food and agriculture; environmental sustainability; and business, communication and society. Academically, the college offers research-based, hands-on teaching of undergraduates; world-class graduate programs; and short courses, workshops and other programs for industry and community members.
