Need 2 full time, seasonal, temporary workers to work in Madison, Lake Benton, Montevideo, Tracy, Elkton, Marietta, Canby and Bellingham in MN. From: 09/01/2024 - 12/31/2024, Mon. - Fri., 8:00am-5:00pm. Additional hours of work may be offered but not required. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 11/01/2024 Job Duties: Installing and replacing machinery, equipment and parts using both hand and power tools. Adjust, connecting or disconnecting wiring, piping, tubing and other components. Clean tools and work areas. Maintain and assemble physical structures and facilitate repair when needed. All workers that have a valid driver's license must agree to and comply with the employer's fleet policy agreement prior to driving any company vehicles. Workers shall not drive a company vehicle unless written permission is provided to employee. Workers may be offered a bonus of up to $100.00 for becoming a Farm Labor Contractor Employee. All workers will be paid for hours in obtaining their FLCE license. Drivers may be entitled to additional compensation for properly maintaining company vehicles. Drivers will be paid drive time hours at the Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) for the state in which work is performed. Job Requirements: Lift 75lbs., Exposure to extreme temperatures, pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over and repetitive movements. Employer Assurances: EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
